Character Bios - The Angeli
The Angeli are avian in nature, with large wings and bird-like feet they are mistaken for angels by any human who sees them. There are eighteen angeli cities. Celthia is the home of three thousand angeli . . . and two humans.
The angeli follow a strict set of rules entitled the Script. Aqua feels the Script is archaic, and makes it her mission to eradicate it.
Lucas
Age: 30

Title/Profession: Tail
Relationship: Aqua's 'guardian angel'.
Info: Lucas was sent to find Aqua when Victus heard of her existence. He planned to watch her from afar, making her aware of his presence gradually. When Aqua gets lost above the clouds, he decides to trust his instincts and lead her to Celthia. Lucas is fiercely protective of Aqua. He thinks of her as a little sister.

Liam
Age: 23
Species:Angeli
Title/Profession: Master of the Guard
Relationship: Aqua's adoptive brother and love interest.
Info: Liam's mother and baby sister were murdered in the dragone attack on the city of Sierra nineteen years ago. His father was tried as a traitor and sentenced to beheading. Liam's childhood was spent training as a Guard in order to avenge his loss. Aqua's arrival turns his world upside-down as he struggles to reconcile the feelings he has for this girl who looks like the enemy.

Victus

Title/Profession: Overseer of Celthia
Relationship: Aqua considers him a dictator and is regularly antagonistic.
Info: Victus has a passion for complicated words and flowery speeches. He controls the inhabitants of the city with his voice rather than a sword. Aqua mistrusts him, sure that he is keeping important information from her. However, she does have a shred of respect for him.

Marcus
Age: 43
Species: Angeli
Title/Profession: Marcus the Protector, previous Overseer of Celthia
Relationship: Reported to be Aqua's biological father. Adopted father of Liam and August
Info: Marcus is thought to have been kidnapped by the dragone before Aqua arrived in Celthia. The angeli revere him as a hero, but Aqua is not convinced.
